This assignment lets students obtain firsthand experience inside an entrepreneurial organization, and get a practitioner’s perspective on the challenges growing organizations face. Projects vary widely in scope and nature of company/industry/topic, thus students should be willing and prepared to take on projects as assigned.

By the first week of April, students will provide to the organizations they are working with a 15 page report that summarizes the findings from research conducted to address the problem specified by the organization, and that summarizes recommendations for action.

Requirements

Student projects have varied widely. Some examples include: conducting and analyzing customer surveys; doing observational research with clients; building pitch decks; analyzing competitor's positioning; and updating business plans.
