The goal of this project is to use open city data to create a state of "human comfort" index for areas in a city. This project will involve developing a predictive model based on urban planning principles, open data and human feedback. Additionally, a standard framework will be developed for the model and data collection protocols for optional usability and privacy.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:


- Understanding of urban planning principles and open data sources.


- Ability to develop a predictive model based on urban planning principles, open data and human feedback.


- Ability to develop a standard framework for the model and data collection protocols for optional usability and privacy.


- Ability to test and evaluate the model.



Final deliverables should include:


- All source code.


- A written report explaining the design process and outcomes.
