We specialize in helping professionals build their personal brands using video. We need interns to assist in editing long-form YouTube videos plus repurposing long form into short-form content for social media.


Students will:

  • Edit long-form video content for YouTube (5-20 minutes) with a focus on storytelling and engagement.
  • Create promotional video content optimized for video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, and other social media sites).
  • Repurpose longer videos into short-form clips (LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
  • Organize and manage media assets for efficiency.
  • Apply captions, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
  • Work with AI-driven tools to streamline editing where possible.


Bonus learning opportunities include:

  • Experimenting with AI-powered video editing & automation tools.
  • Learning how to optimize videos for YouTube SEO (thumbnails, keywords, tags).


Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should demonstrate:

✅ Proficiency in long-form & short-form video editing.

✅ The ability to transform raw footage into engaging content.

✅ A structured workflow for organizing and repurposing media content.

✅ A portfolio of completed long-form YouTube videos & social media clips.


Final Deliverables:

📌 A collection of long-form videos (5-20 minutes each), with the final number determined by project complexity and scope.

📌 A set of polished short-form video clips optimized for social media.

📌 A media management guide for organizing assets efficiently.

📌 A 5-minute presentation summarizing their work and results.


📌 Video Submission Requirement

To apply, students must submit a 45-90 second video demonstrating why they are the best fit for this role. The video should:

✔️ Showcase editing skills (cuts, transitions, captions, or effects).

✔️ Explain why they want to work on this project.

✔️ Be creative and engaging!

📌 Preferred Editing Software: We primarily work in DaVinci Resolve, but other editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut) is acceptable.
