Public Relations & Marketing Opportunity

Number of positions: 20 Peopletail is an e-commerce retailer that helps health and wellness brands sell products through a community of content creators and influencers. We’d like to provide Riipen students with an opportunity to Level Up their work experience in the field of Public Relations and Marketing . The role of 80 hours will consist of: 10 hours - Crafting an original written pitch of what Peopletail is all about. Example pitch ideas to cover: What makes Peopletail unique and interesting? What kind of brands does Peopletail work with? What makes Peopletail’s e-commerce platform different from others? Why should brands consider selling with Peopletail? During your initial 10 hours you will book a call with a member of Peopletail’s leadership team to learn about the company and ask questions. The balance 70 hours - You will be pitching your story to media outlets with the aim to get coverage for Peopletail. You’ll be tasked to pitch to a select medium. Examples mediums: magazines, podcasts, newspapers, radio outlets, bloggers (retail / marketing / tech / influencer) You will be asked to keep a google spreadsheet of all media outlets you’ve reached out to for record keeping purposes, and cases where they may follow up after your project ends. We can deem success to be realized if a media outlet agrees to accept your pitch and covers Peopetail with their audience.

Blog and Article Writing Opportunity

The role of 80 hours will consist of: Writing about brands we sell on our platform Telling creative stories of how products can be used Explaining products from an ingredients perspective Trying to write articles that persuades consumers to buy them from Peopletail We’d ask you to write a minimum of 10 x 500 word articles throughout the 80 hours of your project at Peopletail.

Influencer Marketing Opportunity

Number of positions available: 20 Peopletail is an e-commerce retailer that helps health and wellness brands sell products through a community of content creators and influencers We’d like to provide Riipen students with an opportunity to Level Up their experience in the field of Influencer Marketing . The role of 80 hours will consist of focusing and outreaching to influencers to market and sell products with Peopletail. We’d be looking for you to outreach to social media influencers that focus in areas of health and wellness, and those who like to promote products they’re interested in. Each influencer should have 1000+ more followers. The role of 80 hours will consist of: 10 hours - Crafting your own original written pitch of why influencers should work with Peopletail to sell and market products. Example topics to cover: What makes Peopletail unique and interesting? What kind of brands does Peopletail work with? What makes Peopletail’s e-commerce platform different from others? Why should influencers consider selling with Peopletail? How much can they earn? During your initial 10 hours you will book a call with a member of Peopletail’s leadership team to learn about the company and ask questions. The balance 70 hours - You will be pitching your story to social media influencers with the aim to get coverage for Peopletail. You’ll be tasked to pitch to influencers on a select medium. Examples mediums: facebook, instagram, tiktok, youtube. You will be asked to keep a google spreadsheet of all influencers you’ve reached out to for record keeping purposes, and cases where they may follow up after your project ends. Success will be realized if an influencer agrees to accepting your request to work with Peopetail to market and sell products.

Hi we're Peopletail , one of Canada's largest shopping communities. We empower 1000's of consumers to shop, market and sell products through their product reviews and content. In Q4 20202 we're launching a new service called "Storefront" that helps aims at helping smaller and emerging brands list and sell their products on Peopletail through their own e-commerce storefront. In conjunction with our launch, we'd like to provide the opportunity for few students to obtain real-life sales and marketing experience with a retail and e-commerce company like ours. Why Peopletail? With so many retailers investing further into their e-commerce platforms since Covid, we believe the hands-on experience students will obtain through organization will propel them for years to come with future roles in similar organizations.
