Project Overview

My Fertility Labs (MFL) is revolutionizing fertility care by providing holistic, natural, and affordable alternatives to IVF. Our software platform integrates cycle tracking, lab testing, telehealth consultations, and AI-driven analysis to empower patients and clinicians with personalized fertility care.

We are seeking students to test our application, ensuring a seamless user experience (UX) across multiple user profiles:

  • Patient View – Users track their cycles, input health data, and consult with fertility specialists.
  • Fertility Coach View – Coaches support patients, provide recommendations, and review fertility charts.
  • Nutritionist View – Experts guide users on nutrition and lifestyle factors that impact fertility.
  • Clinician View – Doctors analyze patient data, review lab results, and prescribe treatments.
  • A positive user experience is critical for patient adoption, and your role in testing our application will directly impact how easily people engage with our fertility care platform.
Deliverables

You Will Work Directly with Our Tech Lead to:

1. Analyze Application Flow

  • Collaborate with the Tech Lead to gain a deep understanding of how different users interact with the platform.
  • Map out user journeys for patients, fertility coaches, nutritionists, and clinicians to identify key touchpoints.
  • Evaluate the user experience (UX) from each perspective, considering ease of navigation, clarity of information, and overall usability.

2. Develop & Execute a Comprehensive Testing Plan

  • Conduct functionality testing across all user views to identify and report bugs.
  • Assess mobile responsiveness, browser compatibility, and accessibility to ensure a seamless experience across devices.
  • Identify UI/UX friction points that could impact user adoption and engagement.
  • Verify that all patient responses, interactions, and health data are accurately logged within the system.
  • Ensure that clinicians, nutritionists, and fertility coaches have appropriate access levels and capabilities tailored to their roles.

3. Document Findings & Recommend Solutions

  • Log and categorize all identified bugs, inconsistencies, and UX/UI concerns.
  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations for improving the platform’s performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with developers to prioritize and address critical issues efficiently.

4. (Bonus) Automate Testing for Efficiency

  • Utilize software tools to simulate user activity and automate key test scenarios.
  • Develop scripts to monitor repetitive bugs, track performance bottlenecks, and improve overall testing efficiency.
  • Your work will directly influence the success of My Fertility Labs' platform, ensuring that users—whether patients or healthcare providers—experience a seamless, intuitive, and highly functional system.
