Varnica Balamurali Dear Varnica , My name is Kevin Holmes, and I serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Square Root Technologies Inc., a forward-focused firm specializing in intelligent software solutions designed to enhance operational clarity, automation, and customer engagement for small to mid-sized enterprises. It is with great enthusiasm that I write to endorse Varnica Balamurali, who recently completed a UX and product design internship with our team. Varnica consistently demonstrated exceptional initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability throughout her time with us. Her capstone project, SmartCRM, seamlessly integrated user experience design with leadership principles, resulting in a prototype that was not only intuitive and elegant, but also strategically valuable. By combining The One Minute Manager framework with simulated AI interactions, Varnica reimagined how small business owners engage with CRM tools. Her capacity to synthesize complex concepts into actionable features is a rare and commendable skill. I have every confidence in Varnica’s ability to contribute meaningfully to any team or project she undertakes. Her work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and design sensibility make her a standout professional. Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact me at kevin@squareroot.tech or 647-300-0473. Sincerely, Kevin Holmes Chief Executive Officer Square Root Technologies Inc.

Working with Varnica Balamurali on the SmartCRM project was a consistently positive experience. She approached the internship with focus, creativity, and professionalism, demonstrating strong ownership of her work from concept to prototype. Communication was timely and thoughtful, and she showed genuine enthusiasm for feedback—always eager to understand how she could improve and refine her ideas. One particularly impressive element was her ability to blend leadership theory (The One Minute Manager) into user interface design—a creative leap that added depth and originality to the project. Her Figma prototype was not just well-structured and visually clear, but also purpose-driven, showcasing empathy for small business users and an understanding of intelligent automation. Varnica’s design thinking was especially strong in the “Smart Tasks” and “Insights” pages, where she simulated AI logic and created features that felt both useful and intuitive. Moving forward, I encourage her to collaborate more with peers in agile or product team settings to experience how cross-functional ideas evolve in real-world environments. Varnica has all the foundational skills of a thoughtful product designer—now it’s about scale and exposure. Keep building, asking questions, and refining your instincts. Your clarity of thought and creative discipline will serve you well in any future endeavor.
