Born in the Northern City of Monterrey, in Mexico, he has an extensive background as professor and academic administrator (Dean, School of Business 2001-2008), at Tecnologico de Monterrey´s (ITESM) and partner institutions in the Canada, USA, Europe and Latin America. Since July 2019, full time faculty member at University Canada West.
Educated in Mexico and the USA, he has a PhD in Business Administration from The University of Memphis, an MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Tecnologico de Monterrey. Prof Trevino has lectured in several Latin-American countries, France, the USA and Canada. At UCW, he is actively involved in program and curriculum design, academic research, and other committee-based activities. Salvador has its current residence in the city of North Vancouver, Canada where he lives with his wife, Rosi Lara, and their three children Pablo, Lucia, and Rebeca. - Portals

This semester students working in groups of 5 to 6 will apply their knowledge in digital marketing to help your organization develop a digital marketing campaign, develop a strategic digital marketing plan, or solve a current digital marketing challenge. Students explore proven practical examples of strategy selection, implementation, and management, and how competitive advantage is created and leveraged over time and distance in the context of rapidly evolving technologies and practice.

This semester students working in small groups will apply their knowledge in marketing to helping your organization seize a marketing opportunity, develop a strategic marketing plan, or solve a current marketing challenge.The students will use marketing research, strategy, digital promotional tools and marketing best practices to create a report and presentation. Learner skills Sales & marketing, Business strategy, Marketing strategy, Communication, Research Deliverables Students will submit a 10 page report including their research, analysis, insights, and recommendations. Students will also submit a pdf slide deck summarizing their key findings and recommendations to share with your employees.
