Identify and Compare the Use of Wearable Devices in Home Care

With the advances in AI and computer technologies and the changes in nature of disease and spread, there is an increase in the use of wearable devices. In the United Kingdom and Canada there is a direction towards using those devices in healthcare and especially in elderly and home care. Some of the advantages that those devices offer are detection, management and others. At the same time there are obstacles to the use of those devices. One of the issues is the regulation of those devices and the data privacy issues. Another is the availability of structure.   This project explored the use of wearable devices and AI in elderly care. The project conducts a literature review and analysis of wearable technologies, personalization, advances in the use of wearable technologies for the care of the elderly, and how those devices are used in care homes. The review includes a focus on the use of wearables in UK in a care home context. Obstacles to the use of those devices are discussed. Project Goals: 1.         The uses of Wearables for elderly care and care homes UK focused   22 March   ·      Identify research terms: the words that you will use in research, like (use of wearables).. •            Conduct research, Identify basic research databases such as PubMed and others that will be used. ·      Conduct research (review) on the use of wearable devices in mental health care and management ( conduct a research list table, given in the class). ·      Search for particular literature on case of the use of wearables in elderly care homes in UK if available.
